Basic Installation:
- Unpack the downloaded zipped file
- Upload the “my-videotag” folder to your /wp-content/plugins directory
- Log into WordPress
- Go to the “Plugins” page
- Activate the My Videotag Plugin
- Use the
videoshortcode in your post, page or comments.

How to use video links break.com
- The plugin only works with links like this:
http://www.break.com/index/title-of-video-2143025 - If the link is like this
http://www.break.com/index/title-of-video-not-id.html - must find the video id in embed code, example: id=’539008′
- And use it this way:
http://www.break.com/index/title-of-video-not-id-539008
Does this plugin support other languages?
Yes, it does. Included in the languages folder is the translation template you can use to translate the plugin. See the WordPress Codex for details. When you’re done translating it, please send me the translation file so I can include it with the plugin.
Why doesn’t this plugin support such-and-such site?
There are few possible reasons for this:
- I may have never heard of the site or simply not been mentioned on my post plugin may make me include it in a future release.
- The URL at which the video can be viewed has nothing in common with the embed URL. This means my plugin can’t do anything with the URL you give it. Support for fetching the emded URL from the website may be added in a future version though, we’ll see.
- I have deemed the site not popular enough to warrant being added to my plugin. I don’t wish to bloat my plugin with tiny little sites that only one or two people will use.

My-Videotag plugin is compatible with the plugin “Viper’s Video Quicktags”?

My-Videotag is compatible with the plugins “Disqus Comment System” or “Intense Debate”
- My-Videotag is not compatible
- But disable “Enable/Disable display videos in comments” plugins work

una consulta con este plugin puedo subir videos desde mi pc?
mmm directamente no puedes debes subirlo a tu carpeta raiz via ftp y identificar la url entre las tags ejemplo:
http://tusite.com/video/myvideo.mp4Lo que el vídeo dailymotion.com no funciona Sorry, site not recognized
Recuerda que la forma de la URL debe ser parecida a esta
http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xpei28_sharon-jones-la-james-brown-femenina-llega-a-madrid_peopleCualquier cambio en ella puede que haga que el plugin no lo reconozca

Esto cuando te empezo a suceder, has modificado los archivos del plugin?
Verifica que el plugin no tenga conflictos con otro plugin de video
Si no tienes instalado otro plugin de video actualiza el plugin via wordpress o ftp.
ya revise los archivos del plugin tambien he hecho pruebas en mis blog local y este mismo y el video se muestra sin problemas.

I want to use this plugin and call it from a template file with custom fields but the do_shortcode thing does not work for this plugin. Any help?

I would love it if for youtube videos you would activate an option to add the following tags to the end of an embeded post.
?HD=1;rel=0;showinfo=0;controls=0
If would be applied similar to below:
This will show the video in HD, remove the related videos at the end, it won’t show the info title on the preview, and it won’t show the controls unless they click on the video.
Any ideas?
One way is to edit the file lib/mvt-codex.php and add your specifications to code of youtube
